A must attend! This class teaches you, the beginning Life|ware dealer, how to use Life|ware as an automation solution and provides information on how to become a Life|ware dealer. Discussions and instructor-led demonstrations answer your questions about what Life|ware is and how you’ll be successful selling Life|ware.

Designing a Life|ware System
Experience the paradigm shift! This class takes you through the simple process of setting up a Life|ware automation system. Project managers, technicians, and sales people alike learn basic networking terminology, the use of Media Center PCs, clients, servers, extenders, and more as they apply to Life|ware.

4:00 – 5:30 PM
Where is the Real Profitability in Selling Life|ware?
Prepare, plan and price! The three “P’s” of success. Sales people and business owners will be taught how to successfully prepare, plan, and price the Life|ware automation system. Additionally, other sales strategies are presented that will show you the true profitability of selling Life|ware.

The purpose of this 1.5 hour course is to introduce industry personnel to Media Center for Windows Vista. The course will outline the basics of Media Center as a great entertainment platform, Media Center in residential installations, and lead the attendee to where they can find out more information regarding Media Center. The material in this course is applicable to sales, design and installation personnel. Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Explain to customers the basic value proposition of Media Center.
  • Identify the possible uses of Media Center PCs and extenders in residential installations.
  • Understand different terms used in discussing Media Center such as Extender or Start Menu.
  • Take the first steps in furthering their understanding of Media Center and its platform.
