Reusable Components Provide Application Flexibility
A set of orchestration services built around a flexible, standardized binding architecture allows developers to build applications in Life|ware without writing code. Most application development platforms provide the ability to create user interfaces in a design tool, but then require a software developer to write code that implements the logic behind each interface element. Using Life|ware’s design tool, Life|ware Visual Project, any number of application interfaces and workflows can be built using a drag and drop metaphor. Once complete, these applications are portable across all devices running the Life|ware client application. This implementation avoids spending development cycles on platform-specific code using an endless number of user interface technologies. Instead, development cycles are spent creating reusable components that plug into the Life|ware solution. Ultimately, development can focus on vertical-specific features that extend Life|ware into many different application domains without the need to recreate or modify platform-specific code.
